Let's spread love.

This week, the Internet has been peppered with reports of deaths by suicide. What's heartbreaking about these suicides are the fact that they were all committed by teenage boys of ages as young as 13 all the way up to 19 , and they were all reportedly victims of years of anti-gay bullying.

I have completely no idea what these boys went through in their lives. I'm not gay, nor have i ever been so i can't fathom the abuse that they went through at all. One of the boys who passed, Tyler Clementi, jumped off a bridge when a secretly filmed video of him engaging in sexual acts with another boy was posted on the Internet for the entire world to see. His body hasn't been recovered, and Clementi was only 19 years old. Now, gay or straight, that is just an absolutely despicable thing to do to anyone, let alone someone who is trying to fit in in a world where he will constantly be judged more than others. To secretly film someone having sex is one thing, but to broadcast it over the INTERNET? That is just vile, and whoever did it should be prosecuted for murder amongst other things.

I agree that all religion condemn homosexuality and consider it to be one of the biggest sins, but no religion advocates hate either. Even if you don't support or believe in the lifestyle of these gay men and women, please please please do not project your hate towards them and vilify them for being what they are. It might be a choice, or they might just be born the way they are, but it doesn't detract from the fact that they are still human beings, and nobody in this world deserves to be treated like they are beneath others, or bullied to the extent of suicide.

Especially not children, teenagers and kids who are just starting off on their journey of life in this big, big world, and who are trying to figure out themselves and their place on this planet - not those who haven't even lived yet.
